Our academy serves bright, curious, technology-driven high school students with social and learning differences.
Out of the Box Learning
Our asset-based model matches the key skills and abilities of each student with the demands of the contemporary marketplace.
Out of the box Results
Each student's natural skills will be developed in a supportive environment, inspiring them to achieve life-long success.

This STEM program was piloted at The Help Group’s Village Glen High School and infused into the curriculum at the elementary and middle school levels with outstanding success.

Village Glen students, as well as those from other schools, entering high school with an interest and passion for STEM activities are considered for enrollment in STEM3 Academy.

The school’s mission is to connect the particular strengths of students on the autism spectrum with an innovative and rigorous STEM curriculum that positions students for future success.

We provide a rigorous, integrated college preparatory curriculum that emphasizes the interconnections between science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the humanities
We foster critical thinking and intellectual curiosity by providing courses and classes that emphasize depth as well as breadth of understanding
We use an asset-based approach rather than a commonly used deficit model to develop the particular skills and interests of students
We create and sustain a collaborative teaching and learning environment that explores and refines the ways students with autism learn best
We encourage our students to develop meaningful relationships with peers and faculty rooted in honesty, respect and responsibility
